Brennan Chan

Physiotherapist

Education: MPT, MSc, BMus, BSc

Brennan grew up on the North Shore and completed his Master of Physical Therapy degree at the University of British Columbia. He has always been passionate about helping people perform at their best and completed a Master of Science in Kinesiology researching how athletes can optimize practice to improve their motor performance. Brennan is dedicated to pursuing ongoing education and has sought out additional trainings in running injuries and musician wellness. He is also a certified indoor cycling instructor and a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200).

As a physiotherapist, Brennan uses (within the ConnectTherapy™ & the Thoracic Ring Approach™ models) a variety of tools to help clients recover from their injury, address underlying causes, and prevent future injuries. Each treatment is uniquely customized to the client and their goals and includes a combination of manual therapy, education, and exercise prescription. Brennan loves spending time teaching clients about their body and providing them information on what they can do to facilitate their recovery process as well. He is committed to having clients move better so that they can stay active and realize their movement goals.

Outside the clinic, Brennan is an avid distance runner and likes to cross-train by practicing yoga, Pilates, and cycling up mountains. Brennan is also a classically trained pianist with a Bachelor of Music degree and enjoys teaching and playing piano.

Brennan is excited to bring his drive and enthusiasm for sport, Pilates, and rehab to Synergy Physio + Pilates!
