Mitch joins Synergy Physio from Sydney, Australia. Mitch graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons).
Mitch worked in a private practice in Sydney that utilized the ConnectTherapy™ models and he saw the immense benefits of looking deeper and treating the cause of dysfunction as opposed to managing symptoms. This spurred him to complete the ConnectTherapy Series in 2017 under Dr. LJ Lee to further his skill base.
Inspired by the results he was seeing during his treatments, Mitch relocated to Vancouver to join the Synergy team and be surrounded by passionate therapists dedicated to the ConnectTherapy™ & Thoracic Ring Approach™ treatment models and further expand his knowledge.
Mitch is also trained in the Pilates method. This approach to movement has shaped his understanding of the human body and supplies countless tools to facilitate healthy movement in individuals. He has a passion for teaching people to enjoy movement and helping them achieve things that they never thought possible.
Outside of the clinic, Mitch loves to travel and learn languages. He spent extended periods of time living in both Costa Rica and France and is excited by the possibility of utilizing his Spanish and French while in Vancouver. He also enjoys bouldering in his spare time and is a keen rugby player.
