Raj Yoganathan

Education: B App Sc (Physiotherapy) USyd

Raj graduated as a physiotherapist at the University of Sydney in 2009. He began his career working in the hospital system where he was able to gain experience in treating orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac and musculoskeletal conditions. Raj has had experience working as a physiotherapist in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

Raj soon found his passion working with and helping people with musculoskeletal injuries and was fortunate enough to come across the ConnectTherapy™ approach when working for a clinic in Sydney, Australia. He was amazed at the results he was getting with his patients and was eager to learn more about this approach, prompting him to complete the ConnectTherapy Series taught by Dr LJ Lee in 2019 and relocate to Vancouver to learn more about this innovative approach. Raj has training in the Pilates method and enjoys teaching classes and incorporating Pilates into his treatment approach.

Having experienced neck and back pain in the past and knowing the physical and psychological impact it can have on a person, Raj has a special interest in treating injuries relating to the spine. Having always had a love for sport, he also has an interest in treating injuries relating to sports, in particular soccer, basketball and golf. Raj believes in taking a holistic approach when treating his clients and aims to find the root cause of their problem. He enjoys working with people to help them to regain control over their body and more importantly make them smile again!

Outside of the clinic Raj enjoys traveling, soccer, yoga and being in the outdoors.

Raj will be available to start seeing patients the week of January 20, 2020.
